Although YA novels are generally targeted at readers aged 12-18+ (I still read YA!), due to my books’ realistic portrayals of internet safety, mental health, and body image, they might be more suitable for readers 14+.

Drop me an email and I will send you my price list, in line with standard UK author rates. However, I understand that budgets can vary between schools, so I’m always open to having a conversation about fees. It’s important to me that sessions are accessible to as many students as possible.

For full details, check out my School Visits page, but in short, a talk would be a 45-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A and/or book signing. A workshop would include an intro and reading from its focus book, an interactive discussion of its themes, relevant media analysis (a video or content creator profile), and a creative writing exercise. I am happy to adapt sessions depending on age group, curriculum/library focus, or deep dive into whatever covered topic you think would be most beneficial.

I love travelling the UK, and would be delighted to do so to talk to your students. I have delivered school talks as far as Glasgow and Jersey! Travel costs do apply and will be included in my fee.

I recommend booking in as early as possible, particularly around busy periods such as World Book Week and towards the end of the school year.
